First Runeworking Lesson

A new skill, Runeworking, at the Wise Old Enby's Resonance Rig on Stillreach. Attune Rune Fragments into Beginner Echo Seekers, and learn how from the Enby in First Runeworking Lesson.

Beginner Echo Seeker

Hilltop Workshop has a second reason to visit. Once Not From Around Here is complete, the Wise Old Enby's Resonance Rig is yours to use: a new skill, Runeworking, that attunes one Rune Fragment into one Beginner Echo Seeker. Every attunement works, takes about twenty seconds and pays Runeworking XP. Run one, a number, or Max, and Finish Current stops after the one on the Rig.

The Enby would like to show you how. First Runeworking Lesson starts as soon as you finish the mystery with them, or, if you finished it before today, the next time you talk to them. Attune three Seekers, then go back to them for some Runeworking XP. They will also tell you where to find more Fragments, and the advice depends on how much Mining you have done.

Seekers are ordinary items you can carry, stash and trade. They cannot be used yet.

  • Beginner Echo Seeker: 1 Rune Fragment at Runeworking 1, 20.4 seconds, 25 Runeworking XP, never fails.
  • First Runeworking Lesson, from the Wise Old Enby: attune three Beginner Echo Seekers after accepting it, then return to them for 150 Runeworking XP.
  • Where to Find Fragments, First lesson and About the Seekers, three new conversations with the Wise Old Enby.
  • Sources for Beginner Echo Seeker beside the lesson's objective in the Mission Log, which leads on to Rune Fragment's own Sources.
